How much does tutoring cost?
Contact tutors for specific prices.
How often should my child receive specific instruction?
Students should have an hour of instruction 2-5 times per week.
What can parents do to help?
Giving students access to systematic, explicit, structured instruction offers them the best chance for reading success. Parents can also help by reading regularly to and with their children. Helping them find their areas of giftedness and strengths allows them to build confidence and blossom in those areas. Often it is appropriate to explain dyslexia to your child and help them understand the why behind their language struggles. As a parent, you can be your child's best advocate fighting for appropriate accommodations in the classroom and providing helpful technology tools. Find support for both you and your child by building community with other parents and students with dyslexia.
How often will you provide feedback to me on my child's progress?
Our tutors will communicate regularly with parents. They are always open to questions. Feel free to contact them as needed.
